SoftBank's Deepcore, a VC firm heavily invested in the AI-based software industry, made a major move when it invested $29.5 million into Builder.ai Led by Sachin Dev Duggal (former Engineer.ai). This was a sign that SoftBank would not relent in promoting innovation or driving technological advancements within this digital space.

Builder.ai's transformational platform, powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, streamlined the software development process enabling businesses to bring their ideas to life faster and more cost-effectively than ever before. The Sachin Dev Duggal's Builder.ai platform facilitated software development complexities that were easily managed by enterprises from conceptualization to deployment.

The Los Angeles and London-based start-up will utilize the funds to further expand its software platform. Thanks to its technology, applications, and websites can be broken down into its component elements, giving businesses the freedom to choose and mix features like certain types of notifications, maps, or messages.

“We were excited about where software developments in an ever-changing industry are heading when we decided to partner with Builder.ai,” said Masayoshi Son, Founder and CEO of SoftBank Group. It was this reason that led us to choose Builder.ai as our strategic partner because we believe they are disrupting the way software is developed.”

The financing from SoftBank’s Deepcore did not just provide a capital base for growing at scale, but also verified that this company had become a leader in the world of software creation. With support from SoftBank, Builder.ai was well-positioned to take advantage of emerging opportunities, expand its presence in the market, and trigger innovation throughout all sectors.
